When it comes to the AJP Experience, communication and trust are such a huge deal! I want you to have a good idea of what it would be like working with me before we even meet! With 5 years and 100+ weddings under my belt, you’ll have a good idea of my expertise when we chat and that’s where the trust comes in.

MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE

I know I’ve been going on about the experience and haven’t even talked about my photos! I’m sure you’ve noticed already, but I really love the timeless, true to life look! I feel with so many trends going in and out of the wedding scene this style is something you’ll look back on 30 years from now and won’t feel like your album looks dated. I’m a mixture of those classic poses with those fun, organic photos that really show of your personalities. I mean who doesn’t love variety right?

Here’s where we get to the nitty gritty! Once we set up an in person or video meeting, we can really delve into the good stuff. We’ll get to know each other a bit and get a rough idea of what wedding day will look like. I’ll be able to tell you what’s included and exactly what pricing you’d be looking at for your wedding day. If you feel like the vibe is right, I can get you a contract and we will be all set!

Getting you all the info!

I am a huge fan of helping you as much as possible with the planning process, with the experience I have I can guarantee you I’ll have some info you never even thought of! First you’ll get my 70+ page bridal guide which will be a huge help while you’re planning. Then it’s timelines and family formal lists that we can work through together so everything goes off without a hitch!

Your Engagement Session!

Engagement sessions are not only a blast, but they are so important! There’s a reason why I include them in my wedding packages. This such a great way to get an idea of how we work together. Think of it almost like a trial run, once you’ve seen it for yourself the stress of getting your picture taken goes right out the window. Plus you can do anything you like for your session, there are no limits!

Time to grab a drink!

Let’s get together and hang out! This is where we can really connect and build that friendship I’ve been talking about! We can talk wedding stuff or ,if you need a break from planning, we can just hang. Step 5 can be repeated as much as we’d like.

Last minute details!

We’re so close to wedding day now! The week or two before the wedding we’ll do a final consultation just to go over the timeline we’ve been working on and get those last minute details together. This is the part where I give you some extra tips and reminders that will be fresh in your mind since we’re coming right up to the big day!

Your big day!!

We’ve made it!! The day you’ve planning forever is finally here and all of us vendors are here so you can relax and have fun with your friends and family. I mean you should be able to completely enjoy your day right? Of course there will be some nerves, but I’m here to be a calming force so you don’t need to worry about anything and just take in the day!

The Final Product!

Your pictures are going to be amazing and I want to make sure you are seeing what you paid for sooner rather than later! You’ll get your full gallery back to you within three weeks, but not only that you’ll get a sneak peek a couple days after the wedding and a full blog with 200+ photos in it within ten days of the wedding. You’ll have to plenty to look at and fall in love with as I’m getting your gallery ready!

 FAQs

  • First thing is you’ll want to fill out the form on the contact page. We’ll set up a meeting to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. If you’re ready to book I’ll send over a contract and it’s a $1000 retainer to reserve your date. Once the contract and retainer are in, we are good to go!

  • I am based out of Denver, Colorado but I do weddings all over Colorado and beyond! For anything out of state my travel fees typically only include plane ticket/gas and room & board. No extra frills involved!

  • When it comes to your wedding, I don’t like to put a cap on your photos so what I’m giving you is the best of the best. This is typically between 100-150 photos per hour, so an 8 hour wedding would be around 900-1200 photos! As far as turnaround time goes, typically you will receive them within 3 weeks but can go up to 6 weeks during the busiest time of the year. But don’t worry! You will be able to see a sneak peek shortly after your day as well as blog with up to 250 photos!

  • I absolutely do! Making sure your wedding photos are safely backed up is a major priority for me! Not only do I use backup cards on wedding day, I’ll immediately back them up to two hard drives AND the cloud when I get home. I keep all of my couple’s wedding photos for life, so if anything happens where you need them again 10 years down the road, I’ll have them for you!

  • With USB starting to become a thing of the past, I do everything digital these days! You’ll receive a full online gallery that stays up for a year so you can download them at any time. The gallery also has a store for any prints, canvasses, or albums you may need!

  • Nope! Along with your gallery, you’ll receive a zip drive of all your high resolution photos and a print release so you can print them wherever you’d like. This way you don’t need to always go through me for every little 4x6. Typically most of my couples order wall art and albums through me as I go through a very high quality print company that will make sure you get the best of the best!

  • When I show up for your wedding, not only will I make sure to get you beautiful images but I will also help you as you navigate through the day. I like to think of myself as more than just a photographer on your big day. I am also a calming force, a coordinator, an emergency kit, and more! Along with that, I have a bridal guide I created just for you to help you throughout the planning process!

  • Pinterest is a great tool for getting inspired and planning your wedding and I love seeing your vision. However, I won’t use your Pinterest board as a shot list (or any other shot list for that matter). Shot lists keep me from being fully present so I can capture genuine moments as they unfold, not try to recreate someone else’s moment for you. I’ll do my best to keep your preferences in mind, but I want you to feel confident and trust that you’ll love your own wedding photos even more than those ones that you saw on Pinterest. Now when it comes to sentimental photos specifically for you, that is something all together different and if you communicate those to me, I will make sure we get those images for you to have forever!
